Effective communication is an essential part of working and succeeding in any position within a healthcare facility. It is a skill, and you can learn it! This course helps you explore various aspects of communication and professionalism including voice, mechanics of speech, listening, body language, memory, visualizing, paraphrasing, showing respect, communicating with disabled people, dealing with prejudices, avoiding stereotypes, cultural diversity, posture, telephone personality & etiquette, tone of voice, frustration, email, professional appearance, time management, and safety.
